I’m Renée Hébert; animal lover, conscious creative, and a devoted devourer of plants!
To me this practice is about self-empowerment and resilience. When I first tiptoed timidly into Moksha Yoga Fredericton’s hot room, I recall rising from final savasana with so many new lessons: gratitude for my body, the importance of planting my feet firmly, leading with my heart, and that no matter how alone I felt my breath would never abandon me.
I not only felt more compelled to grow and to change, I finally felt EMPOWERED to do so. “You can change the world simply by showing up [to your practice]” are wise words Ted Grand once said to me that still ring so true hundreds of “namaste”s later.
This idea sent me on a plane to Central America for Moksha YTT, Nicaragua 2015. That is where I began my 500hr certification and my exploration of who I am as a forever student and teacher.
My classes offer an authentic calm in the chaos, encouraging openness and strength inside and out. I hold a space where students can explore their depths, challenge their perceived limitations, and cultivate meaning in their unique experience.
